Operation Flashpoint consists of three great games in one: - Operation
Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis; - Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer; - Operation
Flashpoint: Resistance.

This award winning game is fully loaded with every upgrade, add-on and
expansion, including all vehicles, weapons and extra campaigns
released to date.

Operation Flashpoint: Game of the Year contains Operation Flashpoint: Cold
War Crisis, Red Hammer and Resistance in one box:

Features:

   * Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis scenario is modern warfare: It is
1985, in the midst of the Cold War, and Gorbachev has been elected to
power bringing with him policies of glasnost and perestroika. However,
resistance Soviet groups are opposed to the new wave and are refusing
to serve the new regime in Moscow. One group has taken control of an
island community, and is using it as an armed stronghold for the old order.

   * Enhancing the Flashpoint universe, Operation Flashpoint:
Resistance creates an additional 100km2 island complete with industrial-
style buildings and original landscape scenery. Thanks to the use of
high-resolution textures throughout, the visuals will be much more
detailed and dramatic than ever before

   * Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer takes you back to the islands,
only this time as Dimitri Lukin of the Soviet force. Dimitri is a
tough Soviet career soldier - a highly trained professional killer
but one who has suffered demotion in recent times. More ruthless and
menacing than the raw American recruits, who populated the original
game, Dimitri starts as a grunt as the invasion of Everon Island begins.

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, sometimes shortened to Operation
Flashpoint, and abbreviated OFP, is a tactical shooter and battlefield
simulator video game developed by Bohemia Interactive Studio and published
by Codemasters. It was released on June 22, 2001 in Europe and August 30,
2001 in North America. Set on a group of fictitious islands in 1985,
Operation Flashpoint puts the player on one of three sides in a hypothetical
conflict between NATO and Soviet forces. The Resistance is the third
playable faction. Two expansion packs were released; Gold Upgrade, which
included Red Hammer, a campaign from the Soviet perspective, and
Resistance, which introduced various new features and improved graphics
and sound effects. Operation Flashpoint was praised for its attention
to realistic combat.
